Meet internationally acclaimed and award-winning
Broadway singer/dancer, teacher and choreographer,
Douglas Graham.

Douglas Graham has performed in the Broadway and National Touring Companies of Bob Fosse’s DANCIN’, A CHORUS LINE, CATS (as the Rum Tum Tugger), Andrew Lloyd Weber’s PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, and CHICAGO with Chita Rivera.

In the Palm Springs area, you may have seen him as "Harry" in "Ballroom",  “Roy” in Light In the Piazza", “Judge Turpin” in Sweeney Todd or as "Max" in "Sunset Boulevard".

As a cabaret artist, he's performed his solo shows and hosts a local "cabaret meets Broadway" biweekly show called "Razzle Dazzle" at the Palm Springs Cultural Center.

Choreographer, director and master teacher DOUG GRAHAM draws from his years as a successful Broadway and television performer to bring his own top notch, extremely professional and versatile productions to the stage and screen and that same sense to the classroom to provide students with an experience in Broadway level dancing and performance quality.

Although Doug is considered a Master Teacher of the Fosse style he also teaches and choreographs anything from ballet to theatre dance, jazz, lyric and tap.

As a choreographer, besides having staged productions for the theatre, Doug draws on his years performing works of such choreographers as (besides Bob Fosse), Ron Field, Gillian Lynn and Michael Bennett.

He has been seen on Broadway and in National Tours of such productions as CHICAGO (with Chita Rivera), Bob Fosses DANCIN', CATS (as the Rum Tum Tugger), PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, and Radio City.  As a result of this experience on stage, his own mountings of theatrical productions have always proven to be top-notch and well-received and has a vast repertoire of original Broadway productions to offer to his students around the world.

Doug has choreographed numerous convention shows for such prestigious companies as Tupperware, Rotary International, Texaco, and Midas, just to name a few.  Having worked repeatedly for production companies such as Williams-Gerard and Gettings Productions, he has also done work for the Walt Disney Company and choreographed EPCOT's successful New Year's Eve Celebration, as well as Cypress Gardens Ski Spectacular.

Doug’s always fresh, original production numbers effectively reflect whatever mood or styling is needed. Drawing from his innate sense of theatricality, timing and musicality, his versatility and talent always bring a high level to what ever he puts on stage.

Having been, numerous times, commissioned by universities to create new  works for their dance companies, he is also familiar with the concert stage.

Doug’s passion and purpose is to “pass the torch”, empower and inspire his students to find their own passion, pursue their highest dreams, and to nurture their individual talents to excel in whatever they pursue in life, at whatever age they are.

With his background performing on Broadway and in National Tours with such shows as Cats, Phantom of the Opera and Chicago, he is versed in the styling and techniques of musical theatre, classical, cabaret and pop.

Douglas' technique (which is a true vocal workout) has been passed down by the masters such as Eddie Sayegh, Erik Thorendahl and incorporates the Garcia-Marchesi method that deal specifically with the muscles involved with singing.

He works with any voice, as it all comes from the same place. Whether your focus be opera, pop, rock, country, Broadway, etc, if you can stay on pitch, he can help you become a better singer.

Douglas also play the piano and can coach any upcoming auditions (he also teaches audition technique) or performances you may be working toward.

He works out of his home/studio in Cathedral City or can travel to you if you have a piano (for a slight extra travel charge).
